Canalcubano: Reopened in may 2003 with a brand new orientation. It offers now a correct bar service, cafeteria and light food restaurant where Italian dishes are in the first range. Prices are reasonable. It is situated close to a little lake and a little craftsman community in the sierra del Rosario, an idyllic place at about 50 km away from La Habana.

Canalcubano: It is part of the Las Terrazas complex, situated 50 km away from Havana, a place that you should visit for different reasons. Its relaxing bar offers a young and casual atmosphere. The range of drinks is not huge but you can have a refreshing coke, with lemon, or a “laguer” (in the local slang, the word for beer).

Canalcubano: Open in march 2001, this bar is located in the rear patio of a cigar shop. There, it is possible to have a marvellous coffee or rum before or after visiting the tobacco factory in the opposite building.

Frommers: You can also see what's playing at the old Cine Praga ,next to the Coppelia ice-cream parlor. Admission is just a couple of pesos, and you should be able to pay with Cuban pesos.

Canalcubano: This is a place very lively at nights, when it is crowded with people who like dancing. There are performances of good bands of "son cubano" till late in the night. Place "sabroso".

Canalcubano: One of the liveliest places of the quiet nights of Pinar del Río with a big open-air stage where a very good dancing group acts. There are sometimes bands of "salsa" too.

Frommers: Offers up a nightly cabaret-style show in its large outdoor amphitheater space. The show here leans heavier on Afro-Cuban dances and traditions, and is less ornate than those in Havana, but it's still a pretty good spectacle. The show starts at around 11pm and admission is $5, and includes one drink.

Canalcubano: It belongs to complex Rumayor. A nice bar with a colourful decoration with Afro-cuban elements. It has also a terrace where to eat light meals. Ideal at any time of the day or as a stage in the way to Viñales.

Canalcubano: Surrounded by thick vegetation and a small pond, this bar is located behind the reception of the Pinar del Río Hotel, being also one of the most refreshing of the city.

Frommers: Favorite spot is the Discoteca Las Cuevas, which is located at the entrance to El Palenque de los Cimarrones. Flashing lights and loud music get an atmospheric boost from the hanging stalactites. There's a cabaret-style show here most evenings beginning around 11pm; admission is $5. However, most of the tour agencies in town offer a nightly package to the bar for around $8 per person, including round-trip transportation, admission, a half-bottle of rum, and a couple of soft drinks.

Cuba-Junky: Also located in the main street of Viñales at the other side of the street of El Viñalero. Great at night with lots of Cuban life bands and mostly crowded.

CanalCubano: This café is located on the first floor of Hotel Los Jazmines. It is not necessary to stay in the hotel to enjoy its café and the beautiful panorama of the valley that can be seen from its balcony. We will never forget the "mojito", coffe or drink taking there.
