Hostal La Roca Holguinera
My review: We stayed at the casa for 3 nights and it was the best way to start our 3 week vacation in Cuba! Daniel came to pick us up from the airport and he and his wife are super friendly, Daniel also speaks very good english. The food was excellent, every night we got to choose what we wanted to eat. The breakfast includes fresh fruit, eggs, bread, cheese, ham, coffee, hot milk, fresh fruit juice, ... it's the best way to start your day. what was also very good was that Daniel helped us planning the rest of our trip. He arranged casa's for us in Santiago de Cuba, Baracoa, Trinidad, Havana and Viñales and they were all very good. During our stay in Trinidad he even called us to ask if we were all right. So I can realy recommend this casa, you will not regret it!

La Roca Holguinera
My review: The house was very very clean. The owners and the staff were very well oriented as to know how to treat guest. Very friendly staff. They went beyond the call of duty. The food was awesome. Good breakfast, lunch and dinners and the middle of nothing snacks were awesome. Thank you all for your hospitality. I will recomend you to everybody that travels to holguin. As for me, I will see you next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My review: Absolutly great place to stay!!! The house is really nice and clean and the food is absolutly delicous. But the really special thing about this place is the friendliness of the people. Daniel helped us to plan our 3 weeks trip through cuba and gave us excellent recommendations for casas in other cities.

Casa La Roca Holguinera
My review: Very clean, big bedroom, own bathroom with shower and a nice water-temperature, every 2 days clean sheets and towels, own fridge ( filled and refilled with bottles of drinkingwater, cola, orange-soda and beer), tv, airco, wardrobe, VERY nice family; father Daniel, mother Mabel and daughter Dayi. Mother's a very good cook! Never before I ate that good in Cuba. Their own car-with-chaufer, to use by their guests for a very good price! 10 minutes by bici-taxi to the centre of Holguin. Roof-terrace with shower and beach-chairs! My plan was to stay 9 days and than change to another guesthouse...but I didn't want to take the risk, they let me feel like "among family" and I stayed the whole 14 days! Go there and give them my greatings and kisses...YOU will feel like "in family with love". Merle ( from Holland)

Other comments: No other comment than THE perfect house to stay more days for a good price; 25CUC for day/night, 3 for the perfect breakfast and 7 for an exellent meal!

My review: Great place, great owners...Daniel and Marcia. They helped us with some of the logistics for our bike trip and went out of their way to give us information and assistance - very kind, friendly and on the ball. Daniel speaks quite good English and is now working on his German. The room is upstairs off a rooftop patio with private bathroom and shower. They served great food and we would definitely stay there again. ( We stayed the first and last nights of our trip at this Casa)

My review: Absolutely a great stay, might very well be the best stay, and weve been to alot.
Travelling in and around holguin we constantly got back to this house to meet with Daniel and Marcia, which would then recomend other places and come along to bring us to the next casa. Daniel and Marcia offer great services, taxi, airport pickup...theres alot more. The food is absolutely wonderfull, (coming from a professional) hands down the best we've had in Cuba, better than the restaurants and the other casa's. This will definately be my safe house in Holguin, in Cuba.
Dont miss this place.

How was your room?: Amazing, very neat, CLEAN and HYGIENIC, nice smell and every day service.
How was the food they offer?: Ridiculious, amazing, hands down very very good! Wide arrangement of sidedishes, drinks and bites. Just complete.
Other services they offer: Taxi service, good service and once you get to know the driver everything becomes so much better. All are friends of the family.
