Hostal Jorge y Sheila

My review: In the Hostal de Jorge and Sheila (Casa Grillo) the service was excellent, the reception was very welcoming, attention could not be better, they are excellent hosts, the hostel
is very cozy and comfortable rooms have air conditioning and cleanliness is impeccable as the meals are delicious and varied.
If you are looking for a cozy place with wonderful and unique hospitality hosts recommend it without a doubt, my family and I were very pleased and will return without hesitation, we were totally fascinated and pleased.
Thanks to George and Sheila for their careful attention, cordial and courtesy.
I recommend it fully.
How was your room?: Very comfortable and clean.
How was the food they offer?: Delicious.

Casa Grillo

My review: Casa Grillo was an amazing experience. They offered a welcome cocktail, a private room with a very comfy bed and a very fully stocked mini bar. Jorge and Sheila were very welcoming and made sure that they did whatever possible to make my stay more comfortable. From sitting down with them for conversations to getting suggestions for places to visit to going with Jorge to buy rum and cigars, the experience was one that truly made my trip special. Highly recommended!
How was your room?: Comfortable and clean.

My review: location very central, in walking distance to major places
Always felt safe
Friendly neighberhood.
Hosts over the top fantastic.
Food fabulous and plentyful
Very clean
Lots of advice and assistance.

How was your room?: Not huge but large enough. very clean extra hideaway bed fridge t.v, fan as well as air cond. 110 = 220 electric. plenty of covers. safety box. And had access to large lounge.

How was the food they offer?: Food was fit for royalty. There was a large menu available, but would cook anything you wanted as well as anytime you wanted. Servings at breakfast and supper were very large and always very nicely presented

Other services they offer: Jorge and Sheila were always there for travel advice and did bookings for us with other casas as well as transportation. We were picked up at the Airport by Jorge with Victors Taxi Also drove us trough Santa Clara before going to the Casa.

Other comments: We were booked to stay in Santa Clara for 14 days, with Jorges booking and advice we also stayed In Sienfuegos as well as Trinidad. We also did several daytrips from our Casa. Because of our stay With Jorge and Sheila, who were so friendly, and accommodating that we did not just visit Cuba but we experienced Cuba .
All their staff were also very hospitable and capable .

Casa Grillo

My review: De casa ligt aan de rand van het centrum van Santa Clara. Er zijn 2 kamers, beiden met douche en wc. Er wordt dagelijks een aantal keren gepoetst en gedweild. Er is een patio met een ronde whirlpool. Veel vogels en een schildpad.
Jorge en Sheila zijn geweldig gastvrij. Ze doen werkelijk alles om het je naar de zin te maken. Bij aankomst een welkomst drankje. Jorge heeft me de stad laten zien en mij op het terras te drinken aangeboden.

Amenities: Internet for guests, TV, Airconditioning, Private bathroom, Minibar, Laundry service, Garden, Ceiling fan, Breakfast service, Dinner service, Bathroom with shower

How was your room?: De kamer was ruim genoeg. Er was een goed gevulde koelkast. De kamer was zeer schoon.
How was the food they offer?: Ik heb er iedere dag gegeten. Je kan zelf het menu samenstellen. De maaltijden waren ruim voldoende en lekker.
Other services they offer: Er is voor mij gewassen.
Jorge heeft mij opgehaald vanaf het viazulbusstation. Ook heeft hij mijn volgende casa geregeld, wat achteraf ook een heel goede casa bleek.
Other comments: Jorge en Sheila met hun dochter en hulp (Diana), zijn zeer gastvrij, behulpzaam en aardig.

Casa Grillo Santa Clara

If you ever want to stay in the central of Cuba and make visits all around contact this house. You'll never regret it. This family gives you anything and more you'll expect to find in your holidays.

How was your room?:Cannot think of anything I would want more!
How was the food they offer?:The Best food in Cuba I had was in this house.
Other services they offer:Everything you want Jorge will arrange for you.
But as a friend! The perfect way to visit and learn about Cuba.
This family has a heart for you and if you ever go there you won't forget the cuban warmth this family offered you.
