Hostal "El Villareno"

My review: Chers voyageurs,
Je suis mariée avec un cubain et je viens souvent à Cuba pour le rejoindre. Et comme j'ai un budget très serré pour le logement, je vous conseille d'aller dans cette casa particular, on peut y loger à partir de 25 ou 30 cuc. L'accueil est très chaleureux et la jeune femme qui vous servira votre petit-déjeuner parle plusieurs langues: anglais, français et un peu allemand. Cette casa particular est un petit bijou caché. J'ai découvert cette casa par l'internédiaire d'une autre hôtesse de casa.

My review: I recently stayed around 11 days in this house. I've been twice before and I have a great opinion of this house!! The location couldn't be better, downtown Varadero, really in the center of Vardero, just one or two blocks away from the beach, so everything you may need is around. The rooms are accompanied by a spacious and wonderful terrace roof where you can lovely have breakfast and/or dinner. You'll soon enjoy your meal in the sunshine if you like or with a gentle warm breeze coming from the sea. I truly enjoyed having breakfast and dinner on the terrace roof. As far as the quality of food served is concerned, I was delighted with the variety and taste. Whatever I was feeling like to eating (mostly Cuban food), I simply asked for it, normally one day ahead but also some hours in advanced. Most importantly, I want to strengthen the point that everything they serve you is fresh and local!! So, all the tropical fruits, juices, smoothies, fish, whatever, are fresh and they prepare it right at the moment. By the way, all to a very reasonable price!! Otherwise, the cleaning conditions were superb, the room kept clean all the time. They put quite an effort in maintaining the room always clean even with me, a pretty messy person! What stroke me most of the people running the house (basically Lazarito, Nereida (the mama of the house), and Yanet) is the fact that they pretty much take care of all your needs. To mention few examples: They did my laundry whenever I asked for, they got me some medication when I got sick, took care of me very patiently, they organized my final travel to the airport in Havana, recommended me interesting places to go, they were always aware of all cultural and intellectual events going on in Varadero, so I didn't miss anything! They are all very warm and approachable people!! I simply fell in love with the way they treated me. They were friendly, always ready to help, and good listeners. I strongly recommend to stay at Lazaro's accommodation!! You won't regret it!

Hostal el Villareño

My review: spent four wonderful nights at this hostel. The room was very clean and beautiful. The veranda is also well equipped and tastefully decorated. I was very happy to wake up and enjoy breakfast every morning: Orange juice and fruit, honey and Cuban coffee was very tasty. We also tested after dinner, we had lobster with Cuban food (rice with beans and a tasty sauce, bananas, chips, green salad ...), was quite delicious and very reasonably priced.
Last but not least, the family members are very friendly, polite and helpful. were very helpful every time we asked for information, I would recommend this hostel to everyone who wants to go to Varadero.

Hostal El Villareño

My review: my opinion its quite good because for mne was just perfect my stay in this house, its near the beach, and also they are really nice person to talk and to know about Cuban costums. the food was so delicious and variable for example fish and lobster
